John joined members of the community from in and around Watlington for an Eco-Fair held at Icknield Community College. The fair showcased things people could do become more environmentally friendly in their own lives and also had demonstrations and challenges to test knowledge and deepen understanding of various issues. There were eco-friendly products to buy and activities to do.
John said: "It was brilliant event and I was delighted to have been able to get along to it. My congratulations to those who came up with the idea and all involved in making it happen. There was a buzz about it and it was great to see all ages there. I have learned things and am pleased that I didn't do too badly in the sustainable food challenge!"
