John attended the drop-in organised by the No Expressway lobby group in Parliament today to hear more of the concerns being expressed. Today much of the focus was on proposed housing across the Arc.
John said: "I have kept myself abreast of proposals for the Oxford-Cambridge Arc for some time now and have met with groups in the constituency to discuss local concerns. This event provided a further opportunity to listen to views.

John added: "I am concerned at conflicting information that seems to be around on this project and have long lobbied for greater transparency on it. I welcome the promised review of the project and hope that we will have a formal announcement in the very near future. I fully anticipate that the road will be cancelled."
